Lol vettle did nothing wrong at the start of race at all but did show true colours by disobeying team orders at the end of race showing he is not a team player is all

This years Fez looks to be a big improvement to last years pig that uses it tyres better than the RB (thats why RB a lobbying to have them changed).
So I think Ferdi will be giving Bieber a good run for his money this year.
Yes the RB is still a better chassis and quicker in quali, but come race day Ferdi finds his speed and only needs to push Seb to wear his tyres out. Time will only tell.

"the RB is still a better chassis and quicker in quali"

You probably think that the Lotus 98T had a better chassis and was quicker in quali than the competition. The RB drivers - Vettel in particular - are much quicker in quali than the Ferrari drivers. That's down to driver ability, not car ability.

Maybe there is more pressure on Fernando from himself after being out qualified by Massa 4 times in a row. Ultimately it will lead to over driving and small mistakes then happen.

@ John - No way was the 98T the best chassis (I've agrgued this with people before) the Williams and Macca were better so the Lotus was at best the 3rd best chassis. Senna just had the natural raw speed which made him the quickest driver on the grid before he even got to Macca. Seb does not have that natural speed, but something he developed, the proof is when Seb does not have the fastest car on the day, like the start of 2012.
The RB however has been the best chassis the last 4 years, and Bieber is usually quicker than Mark.
Everyone knows the Fez cars have better race speed than in quali, and everyone knows that even if Rb aren't quick in Q1 & Q2 that come Q3 is where they juice the mapping up and have the quali speed. For a long time the car ability plays the biggest part.

matt if its all the car (NOT) as you maintain, then why is webber not 1st or 2nd each year in wdc? after all, you do claim that he is wdc material, yet it seems as if he cannot even match a driver who you dismiss as pretty useless.

and dont forget, senna even had trouble beating prost, unless he had the fastest car.

@ Richard - Like I said before and have done in the past, Seb is usually faster than Mark. He nearly won in 2010 but had that suspension issue in the last race. He hated the 2011 car and the tyres the past 2 years couple with much bad luck. But like we have spoken about before that Mark doesn't adapt well to new tech, he's more old school and drives better in those situations, again like the start of 2012 before new got around the inderct ebd. That's why Mark isn't 1st or 2nd.
I've never said Bieber is useless, I just don't subscribe to him being great or on the same level as past greats, or the greatests.

As for Senna and Prost, they were in the same car for 2 years. Senna won 88, 89 by points and we all know that they took turns taking each other out the next two years. But Seb is no Senna and Mark sure ain't no Prost.

izy,
What do you mean? Seb has matched Senna's titles, and this year will likely match Prosts. And he still has 10 good years ahead of him. And all the records he's broken already... If he were to quit tomorrow and never step foot into another race car he could very well be remembered as the best there ever was.
But just wait and see what he can do in the next TEN years...
