cookie. and probably bob john ty and myself know a little more than you?
i refered to sepang, and the abuse of team orders. but yes, i would reckon that if both cars are running together, then lulu will always get the nod.
and as for number 1?? merc, nico and lulu have all said thay will be treated equally, but the reality is that to keep merc happy, the highest paid driver will get preferential treatment. in a way, its common sense, even though it sucks!

Oh sorry Richard how stupid of me to not realize that of course yourself Taipan Jon and Bob obviously are soo much more knowledgable than myself on F1 matters

Just because i rate Hamilton as a driver i must be one of your fanboy types that you hate so much.

I have actually been following the sport since the late 1970's and have seen all the legends from then to now and have opinions on team mates then and now Mansell/Piquet Gilles/Pironi etc and now Hamilton/Rosberg
Please dont assume just because people rate Hamilton that they have no motorsport knowledge

Lets face it,Lewis has come to Mercedes from Mclaren where he was driving a car far supirior to the W04 that was testing in Barca pre the 2013 season and has basicaly told Mercedes what they needed to do to get the WO4 on par with the MP4-27, DOWNFORCE.

Im glad for Nico that he is now driving a more competitve car and we can now see how good he really is and im sure he will push Lewis all the way in 2013, but cant see the Silver Arrows out-developing the Red Bulls over a season as that is the RBR'S forte.

As for Lewis, another past world champion biigging up f1's fastest who's natural tallent has seen him come into a top drivers backyard like Nico and has outqualified and outpaced the top German, talk about hitting the ground running

@"I think the likes of Brawn, Wolff Lauda etc probably know a little more about a drivers skill and potential than the likes of Richard, Taipan bob etc.."

I think they know that when they have decided to shell out twenty million quid on a driver, that driver had better finish in front of his teammate or THEY will look stupid. That is what they know.

Crikey, JYS changed his tune from last year, Lewis'sbig mistake + F1 teams run by motor company boards will never succeed.. That's a governmental sized U turn!

@“Lewis will drive the living daylights out of whatever car he's got. "

That's why you interview a former F1 driver like Jackie Stewart - to get that sort of insightful technical analysis!

cookie. so you have been following f1 since the 70's?? well, that makes you a newbie!

and it was your comment that i took issue with. anybody with a modicum of sense, knows that merc will favour the high priced driver over the lower driver, despite their assurances that there is NO number 1. if you hae been following since 70's, you should know that is simple fact. or maybe, from your knowledge, you could provide me with something to disprove that?

I think it's a little early to be crowing about Hamilton outpacing Rosberg. He didn't outpace him in testing and we've had two rain-affected quali sessions so there's no way to tell right now. And Rosberg drove the better race in Sepang and should have had a podium!

Completely agree with Richard as to what he says about Hamilton, and yes in quali it wouldn't surprise me if Merc also gives Hamilton an advantage as well because all through winter testing Rosberg has been faster, in FP sessions Nico has been faster and even in Q1 and Q2 sessions Nico is faster then comes that final lap he loses pace I wonder why, but Sham's limits are exposed in the races and even at Melbourne Nico was catching him before the gearbox failed, so yes Merc favours Sham but they're only shooting themselves in the foot, and Richard good point on Webber deliberately slowing down Seb so the Merc's could jump Seb, makes sense but it didn't workout eh when needed Seb passed Sham and Webber, we all know who the best driver in F1 is and the Sham fans are just in denial, Vettel will win again and again even if he joins Ferrari or Mclaren get use to it.
