Rosberg has had rotten luck so far..he might even have caught the RB's in the last race. He made his feelings felt in the cockpit but afterwards chose his words carefully, a class act imo.

I first thought Nico Rosberg was the most overrated driver for the past few seasons. But I as a fan have been proved wrong. He is at par with the best drivers of F1. I think he is a competitive team mate for Lewis.

So, let's see who will win in China. Lewis or Nico?

No idea what to expect here, in Oz it was Lotus and Ferrari the quickest in race tirm, in Sepang it was RB and Merc.
Just hoping for a good close entertaining battle regardless of whoever wins.

Terminator i agree 100% and its nice to see someone here with just a good racing comment not the haters and anti people who show they don,t love f1 the way they disrespect drivers as all these drivers have a job that very few people could do but we can all talk about it

Is anyone else getting sick of the Mercedes modesty crap? It's a clever thing to do at the start of the season, as anything else could be considered arrogant and set you up for a big fall if things go wrong.

But it's quite clear to all that Mercedes have made big progress this year and winning is just a matter of time. When the hell are they going to give the 'We don't expect to win' crap a rest, it's getting boring.

@bob,
they could be saying things like 'this is the best Mercedes ever', 'the car is 200 percent better' etc. but to paraphrase Ross Brawn, that could be seen as arrogant and setting themselves up for a difficult time, I think they are taking the smart approach. I not sure about claims from LH that they are the second fastest team, but maybe they are better in race trim than they were last season, again, maybe McLaren's relative lack of pace is a contributing factor at the moment.

I doubt Rosberg would have caught the Red Bulls. If they looked to be under threat, they could have told the drivers to push a bit harder. As it was, there was no threat so they went with the plan to cruise (well, Webber did anyway).

As for their current modesty, it's just being realistic. There are various factors helping them to look good right now, possibly a bit better than they really are, and to declare success this early in the season would be misguided. They were looking pretty good early last year too, but look how that turned out.
