Jules Bianchi says it isn't yet realistic to think that Marussia can challenge for points in F1

I think their best chance is if they get a bit of an odd race, maybe with a fair few retirements, penalties, or maybe just a conveniently timed safety car that that works for their strategy but not others. But with FI looking strong, Sauber ok, and possibly Williams and Toro Rosso if they can sort their cars out, Marussia will have a hard time getting points in normal race conditions.

A wise man said "whatever your hands find to do, do with all your might",looks like a work ethic Bianchi is displaying. It's now up to Marussia to give him a car which works at each Grand Prix.

Points might not come, but it does look like they have made significant strides forward. I am impressed so far. Have to see how much further they can get, but points are not out of the question.

I agree with Yak though, probably will need a bit of an odd race for it to happen in the near future. That said, Marussia is starting to look pretty racy.

If there's any driver Marrusia have had to take them into the points, it's surely Bianchi. The guy's left me speechless at his performances. It will require some developement and for Williams/STR to fail big time.... and maybe some luck on top of that, but I think this is the season where Marrusia finally come good.

As I said, it'll probably take an odd race to put them in the points in the near future. The other problem is, in the longer term, a driver like Bianchi probably isn't likely to hang around for too long. Even if they continue their upward trend, Bianchi will probably be off to some more competitive team next year and Marussia will be stuck with bringing up a new rookie.
