F1 » F1 China 2013: I'd probably do same again, says Vettel

Sebastian Vettel: I think I'm the kind of guy that respects team decisions but on the other hand Mark is not the one that deserved it [the victory] at the time.

So if they had of raced each other in the last stint ? Then there tyres go off and fuel usage goes up, then Mercedes catch them ?

I think Rosberg was really held up, but not Vettel in this case, Mark had already turned down his engine.

If Seb was smart he would have kept to message. That was his best chance of preventing a situation where Mark might have opportiunities to scuttle his ambition to go 4 straight this year. There is now a clear edict from DM that there should be no team orders from now on. That is likely to hurt Seb more than Mark.

That's what I like about NASCAR,anyone who pulled a stunt like cute little Sebbie did could either expect to have his pretty little face rearranged or maybe next time out,put into the wall.

I'm afraid Vettel has just lost the championship... there's no way in hell Mark will help him now and Red Bull is obviously powerless to change any of that without sabotaging his car/race somehow. And he's not a young driver anymore, he knows he doesn't have a future outside of RBR... so if this is really his last year, he has nothing to lose by being Vettel's biggest hurdle to win the championship.

RBR would pretty much have to fire him in order to get him to cooperate now.

Congratulations Alonso, it just got that much easier for you now!

Vettel will win many more races and Webber better tow the line or he'll be home in Australia watching the race on TV. There are many drivers able to fill Webber's role. Like hime or loth him Vettel is the #1 driver in the #1 car at the moment. The Big Dog Eats First!
