F1 » F1 China 2013: I'd probably do same again, says Vettel

Sebastian Vettel: I think I'm the kind of guy that respects team decisions but on the other hand Mark is not the one that deserved it [the victory] at the time.

@George, Vettel is saying nothing to Webber. He is saying it all to the team management. Sticking the middle finger at them and daring them to sanction him. It's the ultimate brinkmanship and Horner will either stare him down or fold. It's headline-grabbing for Vettel at the moment, but I believe it's called in many circles ..."biting the hand that feeds you..."

It's going to be a long long season for Christian Horner - and the big boss man will be watching very closely from above!

I use to like Vettel, especially after his time on Top Gear.
How things have changed, he is an arrogant cock.

I hope Webber has the chance to help him win the WDC and doesnt.

That would make me one happy bunny.

Go Webber!

@George Zaidan - while I agree that Vettel has taken Red Bull to the next level Scott Speed was never on this team He was on Torro Rosso. To be fair Speed held his own against Liuzzi but like Webber he did not have the full support of the powers that be in the Red Bull empire. It is a bit hard to judge a driver in a back marker team unless they do something truly out of the ordinary

Well according to Marko, RB aren't going to use orders again, so these remarks are somewhat academic. However, they do rather undermine Horner's position, and, no matter how good a driver might be, no one person is bigger than the team. It's all rather sad that they can't keep it all where it belongs, behind closed doors. Whether or not Webber is faster than Vettel, he certainly has all the motivation he needs this year to perform.

Not surprising that a 3 time world chimp is above the team. At least hes an honest despite his ****yness. A quick peddler (as Mark says) to be sure.

I agree with earlier posts that bet there will be a come-together on track at some point this season.
