Nico Rosberg headed Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton and the two Red Bulls in opening practice for the 2013 Chinese Grand Prix.

Maybe you've been living under a rock for the past few years, but Nicro has been with Merc for a few seasons now, this is Lewis' third race with them. I'll laugh when he still out qualifies Nico on Saturday.

So last year at this track when Rosberg was fastest and Schumacher second, many were saying that was because Schuey was not as good as he had been in the past.

I guess Rosberg is simply faster than many people think.

I didn't know they awarded points in P1...

Well done to ROS and Mercedes though we are no where near last year's pole timing..

For sure, there are drivers we know who will turn the wick up and make the lap count in Q3.

Some people providing standard Friday morning amusement. If Lulu was faster than Nico you would be bleating about Hamilton always going all out on a Friday to head the time sheets like last year. No pleasing some people. And no I'm not a fanboy... sick of the same spew from some usual suspects
