F1 » 'I didn't feel good about team orders', admits Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton netted a podium in Malaysia but he needed team orders to help him stave off Nico Rosberg - which he's still not comfortable about.

Once a dirty little liar always will be, and yeah if he was really that uncomfortable with it from a sporting and moral point of view he would have pulled aside for Rosberg and said 'look I haven't got enough fuel for this fight' but instead we get empty gestures after empty gestures, first it was on the podium where even Rosberg found amusing and now this, the good point is the look on Ross's face earlier when Nico was constantly faster than this fake.

Hmmm... looking at your comments Tealeaf, I would have to say there exists a pure, unmitigated strain of Hamilton hatred in you. I don't know why but it exists all the same. However you have to give credit to Lewis. Whether he means it or not, it does take a bit of mindset to own up in front of the entire watching crowd. I'm no huge fan of him myself, but it isn't hard to see he has matured quite significantly. We all deserve second chances. Why should high performance sportsmen be any different? Calm down and enjoy the season with an open mind.

Hamilton didn't pull over and let Rosberg pass because he was doing the same as Rosberg and the opposite of Vettel - obeying team orders (also translated as obeying your employer).

All I see is people saying drivers are contracted to win. Really? You're privvy to the full wording of the contract of employment between the driver and the team, yes? Of course not. That's like saying the contract of employment between you or I and our employers is to simply make money. Utter rubbish.

trullallaa. exactly. webber EXPECTED to be handed a win, rather than actually race vettel for the win. and it has turned out that BOTH cars were in turned down mode, yet seb was still faster!

cookie. yes, and i have defended him in the past too. if he messes up i will be critical of him, and when he acts like a man, i will praise him.
but as "really" says, so far, since leaving macca, he does appear to be maturing. so the question is...does macca create monsters, or was lulu just full of himself due to being uncle ron investing so much in him from a very young age?
