dr graham.. it was a JOKE!!!!!!!! just to wind up all the conspiracy theorists! It pays to have a bit of a sense of humour.

and as regards the tyres, even the commentators did not expect many to come out on softs. but there will always be some teams who want to have their moment of glory. rbr and mclaren were the clever ones. there was no way that vettel was going to be on pole, on tyres that were over a second slower, yet he went out on them. even without his run off, he would probably only attained 7th or eigth at the most. but with these lousy tyres, strategy is an important part of the race. the softees will have to change early, and will have all the back markers ahead of them. the others will come out in a spread out field, and should have clear tracks.

Dr Graham,

You may not be aware but Richard is the resident comic on Crash. The Hamilton and Webber fans have taken some time coming to grips with Richard's rather odd sense of humour. Now we know we can rest easy.

I used to watch F1 races but now not interested in.
It has nothing in common with sport competition nor professional approach.
Drivers and the whole staff became undignified- they drag their problems out on public, go to media- all for to pay some attention on them. Embarrassing.
Perhaps F1 brings its owners huge income but for me- just not worth to waste a single minute of my life to watch it.

Bob i think you might be right about vettle but i don,t think button has the rac e pace to be in it .
Richard i agree kimi is very good on tyres and if he can make them last on first stint then he could run away anyway it looks like being a good one

The optimum strategy for tomorrow is 3 stopper, Vet has 1 set of brand new soft tyres for the race tomorrow. Which means he starts on Mediums and ends on Mediums with a short stint on the softs midway through. Button will try a 2 stopper and fail with style!
