Lewis Hamilton wasn't talking about tyres when he confirmed that he had 'made the right choice' at the Chinese Grand Prix.

i said this all the way along, being a Hamilton fan from day 1, a life long senna fan, Ron Dennis and mclaren (until this year). Since Ron Dennis left mclaren and they brought that idiot in...that was it...Mclaren wer on a downhill slide. this guy isnt even good enough a person for a small team...hes smarmy and useless and doesnt deserve to be in the sport. So Hamilton walking away was the best thing he could have done and good on him... mercedez will get there soon an that will b that. Mclaren will be left behind with Whitmarsh and Button...useless fools.

Hamilton was excellent today. The Merc is far superior with him driving it, and leaving his former team was such the right move. A win today was impossible, as Alonso was way faster than the entire F1 field. Well done Kimi for putting a damaged car in second. Ferrari , and Lotus both have the edge on the Merc, but this season is still a development season to make a real run at the constructors title in 2014. This was good day, despite any of the usual and BORING Taipan thrashing that will surely come about. Good race, onto Bahrain.

actually locking up the left front didn't hurt him that bad given his attack angle, in fact it might have helped him skip it, most of the weight was on the right side of the car and he had plenty of room to run out while achieving a uniform velocity approach down the straight. The (at least 2) back markers hurt Lewis the most in the last lap.

this is a joke. tires that last 5-6 laps and loosing 20 sec to go in the box to put them on and then driving like a crazy(Vettel) to get back lost time just to get back in the pit again. in the end: advantage = 0
