"Sergio has been very polite so far this year. I think he needs to toughen up," says McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh.

This is the the moment of truth for checo to prove what he is made of, he has to cope up with the presure of a top team like, Mclaren and he must deliver under such presure, otherwise his f1 carrer will be over

Mclaren could have simply found a better driver. Replacing Hamilton with Perez has ensured mclaren will no way be near the title hunt this year. Maybe they could have signed Massa , Hulkenberg, Paul di Resta. Better & mature drivers.

Comparing Perez and Grosjean, Grosjean has crashed more but has accomplished more too. Perez is simply not first rate material. One of Whitmarsh's blunders. The sooner he is out of F1 car, the better for sport

To be fair to Perez, prior to the being signed by Macca, he was having an outstanding season. It was after he was signed when chinks in his armour showed up. That's called pressure, baby. There are only a few drivers on the grid who can handle pressure when it counts.

I'm not saying he will be great, but at least give him some time to prove it.

I can't believe the comments on this site against Perez - have you all forgotten his drive at Monza last year in a mid-field car - do you call that rubbish as well? Go and ask Fernando what he thought about that drive, I would think his opinion will count more than ours - this guy is good, just give him a chance and don't be so quick to destroy him after a handful of races.

If he tried and then he will crash very often.
Stewards need to take action against driver who waving car. Last year Michael was one of victims but he was taken action by steward for crashed. Perez always do it.
Also Stewards are very soft on Perez, always. It may be xxxxx because of Carlos Slim.
