When the car is on, there is none better at controlling a race than Alonso. I like his chances as champion. I also like the Iceman's chances. It is good for F1 to have so many that could be champion. As for RB, Vettel should take care trying to pass Webber again. He may find himself in the gravel.

Its too early to even think about 2013 title, Red Bulls are going to win it sooner or later by hook or by crook. Red Bulls will crash out the opponents.

Realistically I think it's between Vettel and Alonso. I don't think right now Kimi is putting the car in places it shouldn't be. Ferrari and Red Bull will continue to update update update during the year and I think Lotus will fall behind.

I doubt Mercedes will mount a big title challenge this year too, I think Hamilton could win a race but I don't see them making it a championship contender any time soon.

I don't believe it is too early, the reality is that the champion will be one of Vettel, Alonso, Raikonnen or Hamilton, with Vettel and Alonso as the joint favourites.
There are no other drivers who can challenge this four on a regular basis and while Button might just sneak in a win later in the season if Mclaren ever manage to sort out their car he won't be anywhere near this four. It has always been the case that their is a top group of drivers and the winner always comes from that group.
