F1 » Bahrain Grand Prix 2013: Perez was too aggressive, says Button

Jenson Button: I didn't feel it was the cleanest racing with Checo and myself. I think it is great that we are allowed to race and that is fantastic. But into Turn Four we were wheel banging and that's not normally the way I like to race.

Checo has earned a bad tag pretty too soon with the Prince Jenson fan boys.He must be ready for the grind mill for the rest of his stay in McLaren.
. Checo,Benvenuti at the hate club.You and Lulu are the Notorious Bad team mates of Prince Jenson.

By the deliberate crowding of Perez's car beyond the edge of the track on Lap32 ,Button broke sporting regulation 20.5

' 20.5 Manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers, such as deliberate crowding of a car beyond the
edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, are not permitted.'

the english media are so blinded by there blue eye boy. people seem to forget button is a mid pack driver. his championship was not down to his talent. yes he points telly was close to lewis, but his talent is no where near. if say button was german with the same talent he would of been in dtm time ago. nobody wants to say the truth. he braked checked him at the apex. he did not accelerate the way he should, but people are say perez bumped him. why would he want to do that. this is not touring cars he would more like end his race. his car was damaged but he still was faster then no crip. button is not a gentleman you dont run your team mate of the track. this guy has a tefflon coating. you tell me what driver at the age off 33 becomes the number one driver at a top team. lewis made them contenders again. and look where they are without him. back where they were before he joined the f1 team

@Andrew Ecclestone

Running your team mate off the track is no way near as bad as banging wheels with you team mate at over 300+ Kmh and hitting the back of your team mate as Perez did.

If you think what Button did was worse than Perez then I worry about what you think is ok on a race track!

no glass to say that button brak checked perez is absolutely ridiculous! why would he risk being taken out, just to teach perez a lesson? the simple fact is that button was later to apex, and so slower coming out of it. with a bit more experience, perez will learn about simple race facts (hopefully). but remember last year? everybody was praising him for his lunges.

people forgot buttons earlier years they only count his career since he was at brawn. we is a average driver made to look good.people started to believe he really was a top driver even he does. he so smooth he is a rain master he has such race craft. im sorry you are fools. people know he is not top notch but cant face it there blue eyed boy is not all that. he cant drive round problems so how is he going to help improve the car. i used to like the guy but he has changed since he started to believe the hype. it sits better in the uk and other places that button is the last uk f1 champion

For those who didn't see the interview with Martin Whitmarsh after the race when Jenson joined in, you would have seen that he was perfectly happy with most of it, but felt the wheel banging was a bit too far. He joked that it was Martin's fault for telling Perez to be more aggressive after the last race!

dont know what button and his fans will do, because the team cant slow perez down like they did with lewis. dont think the sponsorship he brings to the team will have that. they felt they created lewis so they could do what they wanted to him. that team messed up the first year lewis was in the team. and last year they had the car to do it, but couldnt finish of the job. something is very wrong in that team. when they brought in sam Micheals in i saw that as a backward step. i hope mercedes gives them so duff engines lol

I am sure the Slims had nothing to do with Perez' pace at Bahrain :) That said, Jenson really took that one hard, hope he can rebound, cause if he can't karma is gonna bite him in the ****.
