F1 » Bahrain Grand Prix 2013: Perez was too aggressive, says Button

Jenson Button: I didn't feel it was the cleanest racing with Checo and myself. I think it is great that we are allowed to race and that is fantastic. But into Turn Four we were wheel banging and that's not normally the way I like to race.

I was glad to see they were allowed to race but check shouldn't have hit Button but Checo drove the better race this weekend as he was involved in close racing too but his tyres didn't die like buttons towards the end and ended up 4 places behind him.

If you're going to blame anyone Button blame your boss... Whitmarsh came out and challenged perez to man up a bit, and to his credit, he did! Personally for me that was most entertaining part of Bahrain GP watching them scrap, need more of that, less team order crap! Just because lewis is gone doesn't make you automatic Number 1 Jensy poo, go out and EARN IT.

Button I think belived that he would be master over
Perez. Starting thet the rookie will be Buttons master..
He had to deal with Hamilton, and lost..
he wil Loose to Perez
Button better get use to it Banging wheels is the name of the game..

Buck Bundy
"For those who didn't see the interview with Martin Whitmarsh after the race"

I did.
I like Jenson/Mclaren, but that was a PR stunt by Jenson.
He must have had feedback instantly after the race and was trying to diffuse the situation by being the "Happy Fool".

The pair need to talk it through, move on, and "Go Racing.

Jensen was trying to avoid being Checo s toy-boy. Too late Jensen. You got comprehensively outraced and tried to hide it under the "safety " smokescreen. So far the intra-team battles have been most interesting. Will Lotus be able to deliver a memorable sequel ?
