F1 » Bahrain Grand Prix 2013: Perez was too aggressive, says Button

Jenson Button: I didn't feel it was the cleanest racing with Checo and myself. I think it is great that we are allowed to race and that is fantastic. But into Turn Four we were wheel banging and that's not normally the way I like to race.

@all the button haters

How exactly is he a mid pack driver?

Is it because he has finished in the top 5 of the WDC for the last 4 years?

Or because he won the WDC the very first year he had a car capable of doing so?

Or because he out scored Hamilton while team mates?

Or because ever since he has been driving a front running car he has finished with a higher average position in the WDC than Hamilton?

@Liam48 wheel banging happens at every race, and does not break the rules, unlike crowding another car off the track.

@Buzz45 The stewards do not punish every rule infringement.

rookie perez had 2 drs zones to make a clean move. Just requires some thinking. I dont believe Perez is worth a mclaren seat. Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton have all complained against him. Im waiting for the day when Perez fights Vettel. That is the day Perez will learn since Vettel will just shunt him out and bring an end to perez's race / career. Vettel aint Kimi / Alonso / Hamilton who gives room. Ask poor Webber if you need confirmation.

@pole position - it's not going great for McLaren, it has to be said, but it's probably working out a little better for Jenson this year than it did for Lewis in 2009, the last time that McLaren built a dog of a car. And whose team was it then? Sure as hell wasn't Kovaleinen's....lol!!

Martin: What is all this food doing on the floor of our shiny canteen?
Jenson: That's my lunch, boss. Sergio just ran into me.
Martin: What?
Jenson: Yeah, it was pretty dangerous as well.
Martin: Is this true, Sergio?
Sergio: I was just trying to be more aggressive, like you said I should be, boss.
Martin: In other people's canteens, Sergio. Not ours. Just look at the mess you've made.
Jenson: Yeah, someone's going to have to clean that up.
Sergio: Sorry boss. Shall I get a mop?
Martin: No, we've got a guy who deals with this sort of thing.
Jenson: Can someone give Gary a call?
