two races fernado has finished ahead of vettel and outscored seb by sixteen points, vettel finishes ahead of alonso once and gains twenty one points, alonso fails to finish once and vettel takes (litteraly) the full 25 points. mark wenbber had s stinker in bahrain and still finished ahead of both ferraris. good thing for the italian team to get this catastrophic weekend out of the way early in the season rather than have it on the final leg. they cant really afford ti have another weekend as bad as this one.

'Analysis revealed that the problem was caused by the breakage of a mechanical component within the system'

No s**t Sherlock. As Buck has already pointed out, anyone could have told us that.

And Owen, Are Ferrari not one of the most reliable cars on the go at the moment. Not flawless, but not exactly breaking down all the time are they. Hence Alonso fighting for the title last year.

Ferrari are blowing it. They know they have to be "perfect every race," but they aren't even close to it. It's a big mistake to believe the percentages always even out, Lady Luck hasn't favored the Ferrari team over the last four years and although she is fickle she won't win the championship for Ferrari this year either. Ferrari have to do that on their own. Get the car reliable as well as fast and Fernando, stop running into the back of competitors for goodness sake.

You mean anyone with Button's last name. "This is the best car we've ever made."

Lulu's not even in the article and you still manage to bring up your hatred for him. So predictable, you lot.

Just you wait, come Brazil, Alonso will still be in contention for the WDC. Alonso will squeeze every ounce of performance in that car, luck or no luck.

They need to get some sort of "Shaman" to work on Felipe Massa's luck... the guy can't seem to catch a break! I can't even remember of a driver having 2 flat tires and a broken front wing in the same race in... well, ever, really!

I still do not understand why they did not tell Alonso to not use the DRS again after he came in the first time? Surely, they did not think that simply forcing the flap back down was going to fix the problem.
That extra pit stop probably cost Alonso a few points.
