Mark Webber doubts he will ever get to the position where he can challenge Rubens Barrichello's record number of F1 races

I dont think Mark would mind resigning on that record/effort if it means getting the butt end of his team's efforts. Maybe he can get with another team before he checks out and see what he can do, seems almost pointless for him to race with Red Bull anymore though. Wonder if Jenson will be feeling the Webber effect soon?

I'm at the point now where I'd like to see Webber move to another team and see what he can do, there. The move from McLaren has served Hamilton well and people were running down his decision from day one. I think it'd be good for him mentally as well as competitively.

I'm not sure being compared to Barichello is a good thing...who aspires to be a #2 ??? There's no doubt that Mark is quick, and it's unfortunate that he seems to have a lot of bad luck, but he reminds me a lot of Eddie Irvine...

Webber's F1 career is done. The only way that he will be driving a red bull car next season is if he buys one himself and drives it around his backyard. And no other team needs him. I like him personally but he has had his chance in a very good car for some time now.

I really want him to stay in F1, he is a great driver, but Mark has two options, stay in Red Bull and be guaranteed a race seat for years to come, but he will have to serve purely as Vettels no.2 driver, like Barrichello was to Schumacher. OR he could join a mid pack team who could use a good driver, but he might not be able to win many races.
