"Marquez is the first rider to win in either their first or second start in the premier-class for 15 years, since Max Biaggi won on his 500cc debut at Suzuka in 1998" Isn't this reaching just a bit? Biaggi wins in his premier race, so why does Marquez's winning in his second race even matter? Please, let's avoid the sillyness factor in record keeping.

The only records that real MotoGP fans know and respect are records done on the Ducati. Achievments are worth nothing if done on bikes other than Ducati. The Ducati is the only yardstick of MotoGP. MM should win a championship on the Ducati if he really wants to be respected.

Woawoawoa! Do I sense big spin building up? MM is very talented, but it's not the second coming.

Besides, these kind of spins are just silly. Let the kid race his way without undue pressure. All of the rest of us just sit back and enjoy the spectacle.
