The car doesn't just suffer down the stretch - both Rosberg and Hamilton were under pressure from the get go when they started from pole. The Merc just doesn't seem to be able to handle the high fuel load. At the end of the last race when the fuel had burned down, Hamilton was much faster.

I do hope Ross is right but this story contradicts one on the BBC F1 page, Sorry i cannot provide a link as it breaks rules. see for yourself though

Mmmm makes me wonder why Niki Lauda and Ross Brawn have conflicting stories.......?

Razak, I have seen/read that with exact same (HEADING) but in the SUN newspaper.
Mercedes was the first of the original two that complained about the tyres and in my personal opinion with the changes Pirelli have done to the hard tyre which is being introduced in Spain it (Mercedes) will be the team being most negatively affected by the new hard tyre specification.
