Looking forward to Spain when, hopefully the teams will show their true form. Lewis has a decent car and not so good tyres. Maybe the tweak which Pirelli says they have done will work. I say get rid of drs and have decent tyres and go back to re- fueling and real racing.

Technically speaking as things stand Mercedes is the team that will most probably suffer the most by the new Pirelli hard tyre tweak.
Pirelli have lowered the minimum working temperature of the hard tyre from 110 to 100 degrees which will improve Mercedes qualifying time but will reduce still further their race pace.

lowered the minimum working temperature? Seems to me Mercedes have a problem with over working the rear tires, and if anyone with any good sense knows work translates in to heat :) If anything Mercedes need a stronger (less flex/more heat efficient carcass) rear tire, not a softer one to get their car with in the window for working the a more robust compound developed for a higher operating temperature.

even then, Lewis can, even in an out balanced mode, manage his front tires effectively, and adjust his racing lines as necessary. Mercedes need a good balanced car that suites those tires. The problem with changing tires is it costs BANK, and F1 talks about going green and saving money, shakes head. Do more with less, that is their motto.

Yes, Pirelli lowered the hard tyre minimum working temperature from 110 to 100 degrees getting the working temperature of the hard tyre closer to the medium's 90 degree minimum working temperature.
Pirelli's lowering of the minimum working temperature of the hard tyre will affect the WO4 negatively the most of the top teams on race pace, on the other hand most if not all of the other top teams will benefit when the hard tyre is being used.
And this regardless of Lulu being in the driving seat, in fact in my opinion he being in the driving seat chances are the problem can only increase.
