If he could turn the clock back 10 years (in other words if he could be 10 years younger) then he could beat Vettel fair and square. Its like Rossi in MotoGP, they are both too old now. Mark may do well at LeMans with Porsche. I wish him well there.

shaken, " if he was 10 years younger...." well, he once was 10 years younger, and could not beat his teammate then! so how on earth can you say that he could beat vettel? when vettel was a rookie, and webber experienced, he still could not beat vettel!

beningly. webber said he was talking to ferrari, lulu said he was talking to ferrari etc. EVERYBODY talks to ferrari. however di monte said that webber was not offered a seat. still, i suppose that it is nice to THINK that he was in the frame at ferrari

Webber put his time in with Red Bull and Didi, being a virtuous man, feels an obligation to him even though Webber is fighting against his own team.
It will be good riddance when Webber leaves. Maybe then Red Bull can put a young buck in his place that will HELP Sebastian secure BOTH titles every year.

there is something to be said about leaving on your own terms,, have to think that is why he chose so early in the season, no sense in taking a pink slip when you have been on the bottom end of the team's priorities for as long as he has. Hopefully hes in a good place when he checks out.

Regardless of whether he retires or not I'd be quite surprised if he quits the UK to move back to Australia as he seems quite settled here and if he does join Porsche for Le Mans then Germany is obviously a lot easier to get to from the UK than Australia.
