If the world championship was the only measure of a drivers ability then for example Moss would be a no hoper. Or Clark with just two my goodness how pathetic! Or what a stunning job Kimi did in 08 - not! he was gifted that champioship and impresses me far mor now than when at Ferrarri. Be sensible folks, if there is a demonstrable team therefore car advantage and the team win but the drivers do not, you can criticise. As I said - whatever way you look at it Lewis winning the championship despite the team is a stunning measure of ability and by that stage and with that experience Vet was absolutely nowhere near the statistics of Lewis and took some time to catch up despite Lewis being given a complete dog of a car for 2009. And don't say he did not have the car - in 2009 and 10?

Vettel has enjoyed a far more consistent team therefore car ability than Lewis ever has. To suggest that in no way bears on Sebs achievements and therefore Lewis is in some way a flawed driver is really stupid. We have seen how Seb behaves when its not perfect and that has been for a couple of races - he falls apart - and thats not for whole seasons such as in Lewis case with Mac and yet he still drags it to a win or two... That is the mark of class and ability not some gifted chance win in a pretend backmarker team enjoying the gifts of Newey!

dr graham. and we have also seen how lulu falls apart at the slightest problem!!

seb has not fallen apart when things go wrong for him.

as any normal person would, he vents his frustration in the heat of the moment, but he then knuckles down and reverses the situation at the next race. lulu cannot get things back to normal and his anger lasts for months.

BIG difference.

rob. read the comments! I was referring to grahams comment.

what you refer to as multi 21, was not a "falling to pieces", but just a driver asserting himself, and probably rightly so. and he was just getting payback for all webbers ignoring of team orders!
personally, I am glad that he opted to race, and if webber was the faster driver, I would have preferred for him to race as well. trouble was that webber was slower anyway.
