Well, the humiliation part depends on the person's immediate reaction. Yes, Lorenzo did refuse Marquez's hand, but overall I'm very much impressed with the way Lorenzo conducted himself.

He was quite composed, offered a controlled finger wag to Marquez's friendly gestures, and did no trash talk in the post race interview.

He could have made it so much hard for himself by throwing a tantrum and emitting a few hot words - that alone would have made the whole incident into yet another legend.

I can certainly name one or two people who came off worse in more or less regular racing incidents, yet chose to elevate the scenarios into motogp legend stories simply by hot headed actions and words in the hours afterwards.

it is racing for sure.. but if your a great rider with skill, you'd be able to pass you opponent without resorting to dirty moves almost crashing them.. what a disgrace

Ofcourse Rossi thinks it's OK.... He rammed Sete that day in a DIRTY move.

Another example of Dirty riding is when Capirossi rammed Harada on the last corner to win the Championship.

When the only option to win is to ram someone then that's not a clean pass is it.

Always good to hear the thoughts of a passed his prim ex champ, especially when he is known as a dirty rider as it helps him try and white wash history.

This coming from a guy who can't get CLOSE to his team mate or any of the Honda riders

Like many of his supporters, he changes the spin to suit, be glad when he is completely gone and not in the way.

I don't know if any of them set out to ram the other rider but they are all out to win or get as high a place as possible and if you open the door a little they will try as in any form of racing so i don't see it as a dirty move.
Many a great rider has crashed because they did not settle for a minor place and wanted to win
