Allison was a great asset for Lotus. Under his guidance the team invented the front-exhausts in 2011(even if they failed in the end because it was to radical), a great balanced and an all-rounder in 2012, and the passive DRS system and hidraulic related suspensions this year. But I believe that his loss can be compansated by Enstone. Many talented people has made career at Enstone and Woking before they left for another team, but these factories nearly always produces very competitive cars.

I don't know if Raikkonen will Leave lotus because of the money. i might believe that he will leave Lotus for lack of performance due to Allison leaving Lotus.

Lotus cant pay more... F1 is really an expensive sport... with less power car in 2013 speed challenge, reflex nature talent... not point anymore. .. difficult to break fastest lap record...

If KR did leave where would he go? If the rumors are true that MW is leaving would RBR take him or promote one of their 23582 drivers in waiting from STR. He could go back to Ferrari since Massa is out of contract this year, but I doubt that. McL are tied, along with Merc, unless they decide to break contract. I do not see him leaving Lotus since they seem to be the team to give him the freedom he wants.

What a brilliant move by who ever bought him up though. Now they can compare 2014 design element notes, and quite possibly add the Lotus tricks to their own.

Now, if he (Allison) goes to RBR by chance, I think you will DEFFINATELY see Kimi there next year. He alone could bring the sides together with no fuss I think.

Can you imagine if Ferrari were to get him? They would then have Pat Fry, Rory Byrne and Allison working for them, even if Byrne is only helping out on the 2014 car. But does Allison really want to go back?
