Pirelli has admitted that it is concerned about the latest failure on its medium compound, after Paul di Resta's FP2 was brought to an early halt.

F1 really needs to think again about the tyre strategies being mandated, or at least Pirelli should stand up as this is clearly hurting their reputatiuon.
Safety is more important than "the show", and I don't watch F1 to see drivers pedaling around at 60%. Tyre management is one thing, tyres ripping themselves apart is a whole different (stupid) game.
