This team has become an embarrassment now, they will never go forward with the 2 drivers they have.

They are the only top team without a recognised top draw fast driver. Perez a pay driver and Button a has been never was driver who cannot even get the car into Q3 these days.

When you look at their budget and facilities compared to say Force India its shocking

feel sorry for Whitmarsh the vone driver who could get the most out of the current Mclaren Challenger is now plying his trade elsewhere with great results, Whitmarsh really have to look at Ron for Mclaren's situation.

I suppose it is now left to Perez to try and get Mclaren back on track as the most experience driver in F1 is making excuses AGAIN as the car is not perfect.

I hope something positive happens soon. Whitmarsh has to be replaced . He brings nothing to the team. Why hasn't he taken some of his own advice to Perez ,and man up .
Its clear ,when at Mclaren, Hamilton's ability to gain those extra places simply served to flatter Whitmarsh's abysmal leadership.

2012 saw Hamilton on pole leaving Button down in 11th.
2013 Perez 9th and Button the self proclaimed team leader down in 14th.
Eddie Jordan calls Perez " the new man at Mclaren " and "Jenson needs to up his game". Well ,when Whitmarsh goes he must take his under performing no grip team leader with him. Ron, please come back, please come back.

Maybe it is time for someone new to take charge but i don't think should be Ron Dennis to take over as the last
f1 constructors title taken by him was in 1998.

yes he has won a few but not for a long time. let have someone new!

oh for goodness sake! whitmarsh is the team principal, not the designer, engineer etc of the car. there is absolutely no reason for a team principal to go, just because the team is in a slump at present. all teams go through this sort of reversal of fortunes every so often, it is just part of the cycle. there is still plenty of time for the team to improve.
and anyway, I am sure that whitmarsh is doing a job far better than his critics here could do!

its never good for anyone to lose a position, but agreed not much slack left for him or Sam Michaels...qualiyfying was a shamble and at one point Wihtmarsh seem to be smirking at Buttons efforts...not good at all

Typical corporate management nonsense-speak from Whitmarsh. The buck never stops at the top with that type.

Of course he should go! He is paid a lot of money and given a massive budget to deliver results. He has failed, epically!

Time to do the decent thing, old boy.
