So, finally RBR will be on equal footing, after one unsuccessful race. Its about time. Maybe Vettel will finally have a shot at a WDC.

But seriously, looking forward to see if this solves Merc's mysterious problems.

walrus. I don't know if you are being critical of rbr or not, or just glad that the situation I being normalised for all. but it is strange that the rbr haters keep blaming rbr for complaining, when it is nearly every true racing fan , team, driver etc who is annoyed at the current tyre mess. I want to see racing, devoid of all these stupid orders to drive slowly to preserve tyres!

About time....I couldn't care less who these cheese tyres help and hinder (if anyone i support kimi). I just want to see real racing......66 quali laps from all the cars, not full throttle to the first corner then coast to the finish.

No wonder engine failures are so rare these days......they don't get any abuse incase the tyres fall to pieces.

Just my usual sarcasm. I don't hate any team or driver, just these awful tyres. It is a heck of a coincidence though the timing of this. 10 teams complain for three years and it even gets worse. RBR makes one squeak and suddenly it's a problem and they say they will make changes.
BTW, anyone making decisions on what road tyre to buy based on racing compounds is being silly.

And they say Ferrari has a lot of influence in F1.... I guess a 4th place finish for Vettel is not possible.... he did finish near his qualifying position didn't he?

Teams that have found the tires work on their cars: Lotus, Ferrari, McLaren, Force india

Teams that whine that the tires don't work for their cars:
RBR, Mercedes, Williams

Read what DiResta said about the tires.

walrus. agree fully, but, it is conenient for some to blame rbr, but there are others complaining, and not just teams. didi finally came out and said it wasnt racing, and i fully agree. so if it has taken his comment to finally make pirelli take notice, then we may have a lot to be thankful for.

pete. go to pitpass and have a look at the front tyre of perez car!!! mclaren are also complaining about the tyres.

@Ron....did i say it was on one set of tyres? no.

I just don't want drivers having to lift in corners to save tyres and teams on the radio talking about tyre conservation on lap 3.
