Japanese media reports suggest that Honda could be poised to confirm a return to F1 as an engine supplier in the near future - and possibly before the end of the week...

They already have a full season of "testing" in Indycar. Granted it's 2.2 liter turbo instead of a 1.6 but I don't see any reason why they should wait until 2015, and I'm sure they're even more confident now because the Honda engines are getting on really strong this season of Indycar.

Although a partnership with McLaren could seem like salvation, it must be pointed out that their issues are more than just the power plant. They need to progress with developing the aero package to get the rest of the car working first in my opinion
