I wonder if Honda are as thilled to have Button driving for them again, he will need to up his act and get his qualifying sorted out. I think Honda will want a Japanese driver so one of Button or perez will go.

I'm not too sure that Jenson should necessarily be thrilled, perhaps for want of a better word, welcoming their return would be more appropriate. Considering we cannot foresee that far into the future. Jenson may not want to continue with McLaren likewise Honda may have a condition to employee a Japanese driver making for the other seat to be extremely competitive. Anyway it's not even next year that we are talking about, so I personally would have preferred him to be more diplomatic with his answer. as I wouldn't want him to have egg on his face. Always leave an exit strategy I say.

Button may be highly rated by Honda but he is coming to the end of his career especially if he does'nt up his act.
I'm sure he will do another couple of years but if he does'nt start winning regularly again his days are numbered.

McLaren-Honda is a winning combination. Twinkle Ears must be wondering if he did the right thing by going to Mercedes. Button is definitely not past his sell by date. Him as the senior driver and a Honda-placed Japanese driver would make a nice team. And this is from a Ferrari fan.
