@Fernandabulous

Close championship? - maybe
Boring races? - YES

I couldn't care less about the championship, I want to see drivers racing each other not their lap deltas.

js7. exactly. a lot of people seem to have forgotten what RACING means. fastest driver/fastest car.

anyway, lotus did not do too badly with the older compounds, and red bull are not doing too badly with the new compounds, so it all seems to even out.

I agree. You cannot change the rules in the middle of the game. These teams have too much money invested in development of the current tires. The only legitimate reason to change such a fundamental part of the car is if it were to prove dangerous to the drivers.

@ js7 and richard, in spain you both witnessed drivers racing each other to the first corner, racing on the first lap, racing in the pits etc. it may not be racing that you or i prefer, but it is what we have and what the masses wanted, had red bull not bothered with qualifying and used there new tyres to drive through the pack and win i get the impression that your views would be different. during winter testing red bull maybe should have done a few more race simulations :-)

altho I hate this yr's tyres and what they are doing to F1 he's right, you cannot change the rules mid way through

Next yr can we just bring in 80s style big slicks and get rid of DRS so we can have REAL overtakes and balls out driving. thanks
