Bernie Ecclestone has warned that there could be hidden implications of F1's changing engine specification.

pcx. you really do not understand much about turbo and na engines! this has all been explained to you before by a proper engineer!

rimbert. formula means a combination of variable elements so as to produce a similar outcome, so yes, there is every reason why engines of different configurations, sizes etc could be used, provided that when the formula of various details are calculated, then all cars could compete reasonably similarily.

Bernie wants the FIA to sign off on the new Concorde under HIS terms. The FIA wants the new engine so Bernie is screaming you can't have them without a new Concorde. This is nothing but political bull crud.
