@richard - and how much faster was Nico this year compared to last year? The tires are also different this year so apples and oranges. The point is that Schumacher was faster than Nico in similar conditions and now Nico is faster than Lewis in similar conditions. So then it follows that at Monaco Schumacher is faster than Lewis.

mark. I was reading kiwis post in a different way! but schumis time last year was set in dry sunny conditions, so in reality the merc is probably at least 1 sec than last years car. and tyres are more problematic this year too.

I can see possibly Alonso and /or kimi coming into pits after a lap or two, being able to come out in clear air, and gain quite considerably, and when mercs have to come in at about 10 laps, then they will come back out in traffic and their race will be finished..
unfortunately Monaco never gives a clear race, and whoever wins will do so because of strategy. so who will call it right? I think that it is impossible to say,but Ferrari and rbr are the most likely.
nice to see sutil and vergne showing up their teammates so far.

I told you so.
Nico will give the "New Messiah in F1" fits from here on out. I can see the messiah moving on to a new team a the end of the season. Maybe pushing Sutil out of his seat at Force India.

Lewis Hamilton the Monaco specialist never took a pole position in Monaco. But the british press insists he is a Monaco specialist so it must be true i guess.

Lewis Hamilton the qualifying specialist never took 3 consecutive pole positions in his entire F1 career driving for a top team year in year out. His younger underhyped teammate is given a top car for like 4 months and is doing things with it Lewis could only dream about. Who is the qualifying specialist now ?

Rosberg is no Button, as Hamilton is lerning the hard way.
Its time for the british press to stop the hype and come clean for once. In hindsight its good Hamilton spared himself the humilation of going to Red Bull only to get destroyed by Vettel.

All Merc need to do to cover the pits is to save just enough pace to cover the pits, and the one stop strategy will spread out the field sufficiently enough to make pitting early or not late enough, maybe a bit too risky. 2nd Merc will be able to gift 1st Merc top step if everything goes to plan.

Lewis Hamilton - the fastest driver over 1 lap on the grid, the most raw pace of anyone on the grid, the fastest driver in the world.

3rd consecutive pole for Rosberg. So it is a trend then!

Hats off to Nico! Now where are all those bellicose Lulu fanboys hiding? When are we going to start hearing conspiracy theories as to why Lewis can't beat Nico?
