Way to go Nico! Three years with the constant upper hand over a seven times WDC and now outpacing Lewis again. Is there anyone who still doubts this man's talent?

Richard.
Not what I said.
Lewis had a couple of good runs.
Gifted a podium via team strategy.
Nico closed and overwhelmed.
It appears that the gap is decreasing.
It will be great for Nico and Lewis to reach the top two podium step. ANY ORDER.

I remember reading about when they were teammates back in the junior categories that Nico was always better over one lap. Lewis was better over the race distance. That's how it was. I'm fairly sure Lewis isn't surprised by whats happening, that's for sure.

Great stuff from all the drivers today but especially the two Mercedes boys.

Nico massively deserved the pole as he has been on it all weekend but Hamilton did well to dig deep and seal the front row in a car that he doesn't seem to trust 100%.

It should be a good race tomorrow. I hope the Mercs can hang on for a well deserved win and hopefully a 1-2.
