This reminds me of a case of the person with the head but no hat, and the one with the hat but no head!!! RBR, Lotus or Ferrari would kill just to be on the front row...

OTOH, My judgement of Lulu not being as great as his fans think is certainly not based on Monaco qualifying or even this season so far, it's based on his entire F1 career.
Because other than 2007, where he was at his best and for the most part drove very well albeit in a dominant car, with considerable team favouritism and when there was little pressure of expectation on him, he's not done a great deal. And I include his championship year, when he had a great car, no resistance from his team mate and struggled to beat Massa who was plagued by problems.
Since 2008 he has at one time or another been out classed by Vettel, Alonso, Kimi, Button and Webber. 5 years of mediocrity, that's why I don't think he's as great as his fanboys claim.

Taipan.
Exactly what I said, Albeit in more detail. No one which aspire to their fans expectations always, even if aided considerably, which most if not all top drivers have benefited from at some point.
The problem with some posters is the inability to remove themselves from the past and actually express a view based on current levels.
Lewis could win the next four championships and some will still find fault.

However, this is a forum, and all have the right to an opinion.

So what is your opinion based, on this season, of Mr Hamilton ?

Free for all to enter, no punching, scratching, biting or low blows. Just a level fact based opinion on this season.

It's good to type/talk.

OTOH, Same as the last few seasons, nothing very special. Nico has never been seen as an outstanding F1 driver but so far he looks every bit as fast as Lulu. With the exception of Heikki (and look where he is now) Hamilton had never dominated a team mate the way that Vettel or Alonso do pretty much every season, that's why I don't rate him in the same league as them, much to the fanboys dismay as you can see above...
