Nico Rosberg kept a calm head to survive a fraught Monaco Grand Prix and follow in his father's footsteps as a winner of F1's blue riband event.

Oh dear. Rosberg has throughly crushed the bubble that Hamilton fans live in.

He has proved that he is faster than Hamilton over 1 lap, and now he has achieved a victory before the special one.

Should move to a bigger team, having put Schumacher and now Hamilton to the sword it is clear that the only thing stopping Rosberg from world championships is the car.

Mercedes should be disqualified and banned for three races. Utter disgrace, testing "tires" for three days. That does not take anything away from Rosberg's drive today, however.

Hamilton must be seriously contemplating a move to LA and start his rap career since F1 is not working for him anymore. Totally dominated by Rosberg.

Alonso getting a bit old. He took many questionable lines during the race, always leaving himself open to attack.

Massa and Grosjean in close contest to be the biggest waste of a good racing seat. Serious brain fade by both drivers.

I see the usual haters are out in force.

Congratulations to Nico on a brilliant race weekend. He was ahead of the field from FP1.

Tuff luck on Lewis but at least he admitted responsibility and closed the gap to seb in the championship.
