F1 » Monaco Grand Prix 2013: Rosberg repeats on the streets

Nico Rosberg kept a calm head to survive a fraught Monaco Grand Prix and follow in his father's footsteps as a winner of F1's blue riband event.

Ras, So Vettel scored 18 points for 2nd and Lulu scored 12 points for 4th, but Lulu closed the gap to Seb in the championship??

I'd love you to explain how that works!

Jim watching cars drive slowly nose to tail for 78 laps is not a race, it's a parade.

ty. at the enforced break, I think it was brawn who said that it was ridiculous that a caterham at the back of the pack was able to lap ten secs faster than what the leaders were able to do , trying to save tyres.

says it all really.

What a brilliant drive by Nico,he truly deserved this win...fantastic performance indeed....as for Sergio Perez....his moves against Jenson and Fernando were nothing short of nutcase....both could've easily ended in tears....the way he pushed Fernando off the track was a total insanity.....his move against Kimi from so far back while Kimi was drifting on his own racing line was nothing short of idiotic.......yet he still got no shame in blaming Kimi......I wonder how Martin Whitmarsh is feeling now that he signed a *****ic driver........flashes of brilliance,yes......but just flashes....oh,i guess money is above everything then.........at the cost of Paul di Resta,or Nico Hulkenberg.....cmon Macca, bring on your excellent choice of drivers like Mika,Kimi,or Lewis

I thought it was a pretty good race. Yes, the front was decided early in the race and not much action there, but further back, there was lots of action. Nico was on a different level today, way to keep your cool with all the restarts. Vettel was given multiple chances to try again and the Mercedes was just in a league of its own today, total domination.

Perez deserves at least a talking to after today. Sure it was entertaining, but he almost took out 3 different drivers. Perhaps that little lesson he got from Raikkonen will make him rethink his approach. I love that someone was able to put him in check on the track.

Sutil's drive made the end of the race entertaining as well, beautiful passes.

ONe of the better Monaco gps in my opinion.

Great drive by Rosberg, a very deserving winner. Lewis looked a sure thing to make it a Mercedes 1-2, but an ill timed safety car put that to an end. Solid drives by Vettel and especially Webber who battled hard to keep Hamilton in fourth. Drive of the race goes to Sutil, with some fine passes in the Force India. Maybe he could give that "accident waiting to happen" Perez some driving lessons.

Diid any of you who thought Monaco was a poor race see the Indy 500 today? 68 changes for the lead. The car that happened to be in the lead when the last yellow flag came out was the winner. Is that what you want to see? Personally, I like to see a superior car/driver win by a sizable margin. That's racing.
