Lewis Hamilton has responded to Sebastian Vettel's jibe about 'two buses' leading in Monaco by claiming that the German doesn't know when he's got it good.

rob. I wouldn't equate lulu with Alonso. I know that you idolise ferdi so I will agree with you that HE is a great driver, almost on a par with seb! :D :D
yes, seb was told not to be silly when he went for a quick lap (second last) when he knew his tyres were lasting. I suppose you also heard the instruction after the restart, not to race nico as nicos tyres were lasting, and he was to keep the gap as he wanted. so that is probably why seb didn't bother too much trying to hunt down nico

@wade, yeah, Lewis is driving a 'bad car' that, in the hands of his team mate, just won the Monaco Grand Prix, and has been on pole three races in a row, again, in the hands of his team mate!

Hehe!

rich....seb claimed the merc was a bus but didnt have the balls to attempta pass. he threw in a fast lap to get aworthless time. the yelled at Horner it was for satisfaction. as Horner has said on a number of occasions to seb. stop being silly little boy

@Andy, Is there a point in arguing this point when we both rightfully have our own opinions and we are sure going to stick with them. Hamilton is clearly a race driver with added value. if he could strip that added value he could be the best driver and he says the best when he says nothing at all.

Rob,

Don't know wich race you watched on Sunday, but i never heard Seb " yell " the satisfaction bit. He said it quite sedately i think. Don't confuse Mick Jagger with Seb lol

I keep reading people saying that Hamilton 'messed-up'
in Monaco -- so now I feel like I watched a different race. What I saw was Ross Brawn's strategy sacrifice Hamilton and a Merc (hard-maybe) 1-2- for a Merc/Rosberg (easy-definite) Merc WIN -- Hammy (I read) was asked to hold a 6-second gap behind Nico -- and he did the job of blocking Vettel and then did a slow-in lap trying to hold up the field and got caught out by the safety car -- Hamilton was thrown to the wolves in Monaco -- and now Nico has been repaid -- but Hamilton's reputation has taken a hit -- instead of people realizing Lew was being a team-player in Monte Carlo he is being lambasted for defending his new team against Vettel's insults. And Vettel has had the fastest car for 4 years even in '12 Redbull had the most poles.

Michael. there was NO "6 sec" call to lulu. both brawn and wolff have said that they do not know why lulu slowed down. lulu slowed down for no apparent reason other than he thought he would ive the team time to be ready for him. he would have been far better off stacking up behind nico. it was lulus own fault, nobody else was involved.

Richard.

When you say Vettel had a midfield car for one ear and then went back to another one. Yes Red Bull were midfield in 2008 but when Vettel joined in 2009 they had one of the best cars. And had the best car by mid way through that year.

Vettel has rarely had a bad car and has only been in one midfield team. That's the facts
