“Bautista opened the throttle to close the line, but I was already in front” – Valentino Rossi.

It was declared a racing incident and even anyone with half a brain would say so. Rossi should not go looking for excuses and couldve qualified better in the first place on the front row.

Ha, he lost the edge when he demanded the wall in garage - didn't help him, but that was the point of in-time retirement. He is just stretching his suffering, believing in his own hype.

"The other boys got a tow in qualifying, my clutch had a fault off the start line, nasty Bautista on his satellite bike with second rate suspension should've let me go past".
Get your act together Rossi, you are currently behind constant bridesmaid Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo who wasnt allowed access to your prized data, rookie Marc Marquez, ex superbike contender Cal Crutchlow and sandwiched between two unrideable ducati's in the championship standings.

Out of all of the naysayers to Rossi's clutch problems or supposed "excuses" i ask. do you race? Have you ever been on a track? Do you know the proper line? More importantly if beaten out of the turn by a clear bike length who would agree to bautista s move. I dont race near this level but can tell you this even with ear plugs i can hear and see ( as your head is supposed to be on the swivel looking to the next turn) other riders beside me or coming up. Please dont be ignorant when making assumptive statements about who was at fault here. Its obvious.

Rossi was trying to make up places quickly following another poor qualifying.
He tried to pass Bautista on the outside when AB was leaned over to the left and could not possibly see him. As Bautista continued to hold his line and turn right, contact was made. If they hadn't hit, Rossi would probably have been unable to make the turn anyway and would have most likely taken a couple of others riders off with him.
Another case of Rossi's ambition outweighing his talent and AB unfairly gets all the flak.

Do some people on here ever think about switching their brain's on before making a comment? How the F is Rossi making an excuse for his early removal from the race? If he had fallen on his own or had He taken out Bautista that would have been an excuse, having to apologise for someone else's stupidity is not making an excuse. Where Vale should be holding his hand up is in his qualifying its piss poor! Its no good having a really good race pace and qualifying 7th!!!!!!!!!! But then again its pointless making this comment because the majority of posters on this thread will have only one agenda, which highlights their shortcomings.
