@slayer

Yeah and the Sky F1 viewing figures have gone through the roof....cough.

I don't doubt he has marketing appeal in certain market sectors, especially America where he wants to be a mega star but he has to deliver on the track as far as I'm concerned. Only interested in the sporting aspect of the sport.

Im sorry but what a total embarassment Hamilton is now. Started off as a quick driver, no one could deny that. Turns out hes not that quick and so has turned to wearing ear rings, knocking about with rap singers (Did anyone ever like rap ? even before it was dated) walking round with a breed of dog that cant even breath properly and generally putting his foot in it. What a d.rk

As a fan of LH, the racer, that is.
He is definitely one of the best current drivers.
He started life in F1 like an express train and definitely caught the eye with his driving skill.
His assertion that he wanted to emulate his hero Senna was commendable.
However, If that is true I would urge him to think on how Senna would conduct himself?
Certainly not the current way he is doing it.
Taipan, and I hate to agree with him, got it spot on.
The paddock is no place for a dog and he needs to get his head in the game because a German lad he had the beating of earlier in his career is making him look ordinary.
Grow up Lewis please. You have a talent and job we mere mortals are so jealous of but to see you piss it up the wall in a playground manner will leave you marked as not a 'great' but a tit who got lucky!
Turn it around and let's see the racer we used to see.
He scared other 'great' drivers with his moves on the circuit rather than off it!

richard, iIhave been watching F1 since the early 90's, so when i say any driver and in any era i do mean with the drivers in the same team or car as i believe it is the most accurate way of comparing two drivers. To compare Vettel in a RB7 and Lewis in a Mp4-26 would not be an accurate way to judge who was the better driver. Although a good way to compare drivers are drivers in similar spec cars and the last time i think Vettel and lulu as you call him were in cars that could compare one talent against the other was outside F1 i think it was around 2005 .

Taz, all i can say is that i feel i'm at this time getting more out of F1 than you as i'm enjoying watching 5 WDC going for the 2013 tittle and enjoying the dimension that one driver in particular is bringing to F1 on and off the track with the only people getting their knickers in a twist are the F1 stuffed shirts, which BTW im not directing at you.

5???

It's between Vettel and Alonso and hopefully Kimi if Lotus can keep the car reasonably competitive. Merc don't have a hope of either title and neither do McLaren.
