@Fozly

This is not Pireli's fault at all as they are allowed to use teams for the testing the issue is the Merc used this years car and not one more then two years old which is impossible for them but saying that they had an old brawn car they could have used.

due to the fact they used this years car meaning and unfair testing session.

lets hope they blame Mr Wolf as what he bring to the team anyway!

taz. it was first mentioned on the blog that you drew my attention to adam cooper. it is also on yalla f1 which has changed its name to "grandprix 247"

interesting to see that fia are now proposing four two hour testing sessions during 2014 season! could this be a hint of a let off for merc?

They should be stripped of the Monaco win and handed a 10 places grid penalty for the next 3 races. That way they lose the advantaged they got in the next result and give 3 races for other teams to catch up. More than that is unnecessary and less would send the word out that cheating is ok for other teams.

rob. they are only racing on the "crap" tyre, due to the fall out of the test. Pirelli confirmed that merc tested the tyre that was supposed to be used for the race, but is now not being used, (for this race only). after Canada, the new 2013 tyres, which merc DID test, are scheduled to be used.

@Taz - This was in the "transcript" from the Montreal drivers/press meeting.

"When he (Nico) was asked about allegations that he and Hamilton were wearing anonymous helmets during the test, Rosberg declined to comment. "

My understanding is both Pirelli and Mercedes are to face the FIA international tribunal.
This is the first case this tribunal will hear, it is part of a new judicial system established by the FIA in 2010, it comprises 12 members, three of which will be hearing the case, (no more votes by the FIA president and MR F1 in the judgement).
Rob, Mercedes also tested the new construction 2013 tyre intended for use in Canada and then delayed till Silverstone.

This all seems a bit ambiguous to me. Did Ferrari and Pirelli let the other teams know about there testing? And if so how comes its only coming out now as letting the other F1 teams know is one of the requirements for testing to take place.
