Perhaps they can spin it that it did not meet the definition of a team test. And if they did not have access to any of the data or knowledge of which tires or tire pressures were being used then they probably did not learn anything.

Three days, 1000 km, heaven knows how many million euros, their two best drivers, some of the best technical brains in the business collecting huge amounts of data ,Ross Brawn overseeing everyone,and they learned nothing from the test.This is so unbelievable. From top to bottom Mercedes need to stop this nonsense .

Good to see innocent till proven guilty is dead on this site the inquiry is to decide if any rules were broken but don,t let that stop anyone saying whatever and if i was testing tyres then who better than current fast drivers would be better
