taz. I too gave up on that site yonks ago, as it showed abnormal bias on a number of issues. (terribly pro Bernie!) however, when it had been mentioned here, I went to it to see what they were saying. and as I said, it is ONE persons take on the issue. who knows what merc and/or Pirelli will argue at the tribunal?
incidentally, I see that Michelin are having talks with f1 reps about re entering in 2014!

@ Rich et al, I do not write for pit pass lol. Seriously though exceptions or exclusions written into any rule or law have great weight. If everything was black and white there would be no need for such exceptions or exclusions. Please don't approach such problems guided by emotions, as all you'll see is red, a colour not usually used for printed documents.

35. of course rules are there to be interpreted and stretched. ( but look at all the complainers when newey does it). I did say that merc will have lawyers working on it, but now they say Charlie gave them permission. Charlie is ONE person, not the fia, and even he has to abide by rules.but did Charlie write it down on official fia pape? if so, he was acting outside his remit. if not, merc were stupid to proceed without proper authorisation
