F1 » Thai GP plan rocked by new law


Plans to add Thailand to the F1 schedule have been set back by a new law banning racing in Bangkok's historic quarter.

I was really looking forward to a Thai GP.
I was already saving my pennies to take my wife their in 2015. :(

What a shame. I am sure that if they closed the roads and had a GP race there would be far less pollution than the normal smoggy thailand air

yes totally agree, have been to Bangkok, the most air polluted city i have ever visited, its just one big traffic jam, perhaps the "greenies" should point their attention to the pollution in this god forsaken place, because that is what is going to kill them first. a country with beggars in the streets and idols covered in gold ?? and now want F1, priorities spring to mind.
