as i said before ..finding loopholes is an F1 tradition. i know Richard loves them and has often praised a team for doing it. so Richard i am waiting for the same Praise you bestowed on red bull.

rob. I have said all along that if merc had found a loophole, then we had to accept it. but if merc are found to have broken the rules then they deserve punishment. the problem here is that we are being fed differing accounts with everybody blaming each other, so it does look more than a loophole!
you are obsessed with rbr! but you never complaln when Ferrari or macca use loopholes. I wonder why?

It could very well turn out that Mercedes has pulled a fast one for next year.
And it shouldn't be forgotten that what Bernie says have the weight of cobalt, if Bernie calculates that the audience is up on last year then he will say THERE IS NO PROBLEM TO FIX.

Brawn, you tried to deceive everyone, you knew the rules. Using current spec cars, getting your current drivers to test wearing helmets that they do not use when racing... yes sir you tried to cheat to gain an advantage.

"We didn't want to bring attention to the drivers, we didn't want to have to put security there, we didn't want to have to put minders "there.

Brawn is now selling us the idea that Mercedes penny pinching on security was the reason Hamilton and Rosberg wore anonymous plain helmets . He did not want to draw unwarranted attention to the session. This would also involve muzzling the car too. Ridiculous defence .

an honest person will not use loopholes, the intent of the law should be the deciding factor, no one can think of all the ways to prevent someone that wants to deliberately deceive and misconstrue a law to their advantage. No loopholes are found only by well paid lawyers not by the average joe.
