In-season testing could be set to make a return to the F1 calendar next year, following positive discussions during the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.

I would love for teams to be given a set number of days for testing and allow to use them whenever they wanted to. This would add an additional element of strategy. If a team is off to a good start it would save its testing till a crucial time later in the season. A team that starts off poorly (like McClarren) could use more testing days earlier trying to close the gap.
