Considering how people jumped all over it when Rosberg outqualified Hamilton by less than a tenth, are we within our rights to have a good old crow now that Hamilton is on top by half a second?

Maybe, but it would be silly in any case, just as it was silly when his detractors were flapping their lips. You can't read anything from a couple of races or a couple of qualis. But I guess people can't stop themselves.

Well done to Vettel. I think he's going to be hard to stop this year, considering the lead he's already building.

Kimi Raikkonen and Daniel Ricciardo will both start one place further back on the grid at the Canadian Grand Prix after being slapped with penalties by the stewards.
Both drivers were penalised for not restarting Q2 in the fast lane of the pits following the red flag for Felipe Massa's accident.

Maybe JB should be careful what he hopes for. The changeable conditions that he hoped for and got didn't help him it seems.

Great effort from Bottas in difficult conditions and well done to Lewis and Seb.

Alonso has his usual third row start. If he keeps qualifying so badly he will continue to be at risk of "incidents" that can set him back in the race.
