The Ferrari has demonstrated consistently faster race pace and better tyre management than any other car so far. The fastest over one lap is the Mercedes. The best tyre management is the Lotus followed by the Ferrari and Force India. RBR has almost as much race pace as the Ferrari but chews the tyres more and is faster on most tracks over one lap. It is not as fast over one lap as the Mercedes but not as hard on tyres.

Overall the best all-round package is the Ferrari with the RBR maybe second best. Alonso just has to learn to qualify better.
