F1 » Hamilton: The car felt fantastic today

Lewis Hamilton was happy with a strong points-scoring Canadian GP, but despite saying that the car felt 'fantastic' he warned that Mercedes needed to find more speed - and soon.

Lulu is still blaming the brakes but today he added car balance and grip to the list that the team needs to improve upon, this is not meant as criticism of him, it is meant to show that reporting/quoting leaves much items of substance out.
It seems that the team experiments with the car set up suited Lulu more than Rosberg this time.

Taipan in reaching for the Kleenex shocker!

Brilliant drive from Vettel. Utterly dominated in what is still the best car.
I thought Lewis drove well today and although he admitted that he thought Alonso was a little to fast at the end. I thought Lewis was unlucky in that a caterham parked so that the drs was disabled for the last 3 laps.
Kudos to him for not taking that in account.

Well done Lewis. In all reality , the car is on most days third place. However , next year is the run at the championship, and 2013 is a development year. Look at how much better this car is as opposed to 2012. @Taipan, ??? Really, your 15 seconds behind Vettel, ALONSO is OWNED as well, and a 1.7 spread at the end is definitely not ownership. Your are as usual the reigning emperor of hypocrisy. Using your standards, Hamilton OWNED Alonso the year they were both at Mclaren. FYI, on NBC sports there was a clip of Alsonso passing on a flashing yellow, I don't know if the BBC had it, but we in America saw it. See if second place is still there in the morning. Well done Red Bull, still owning all of F1.

Taipan just like last year then when Hamilton Owned the whole field and alonso went from 1st to forth oh so very quickly and tai, just a reminder you are the one who sed he was going to be a midfield driver and it was the worst choice c'mon can't have everything theses little flaws your finding is ridiculous, Hamilton drov a good race today and he was 8 secs up the road till the last stint it was close alonso owned no one in that race vettel was the one who couldn't be touched good race from the top 3 especially

Westy, So Lulu owned the whole field last year by going from 2nd to 1st but Alonso owned no one even though he went from 6th to 2nd, closed a 10 second gap to Lulu in as many laps and overtook him with ease? More fanboy logic.
And just how did Lulu drive a good race? He went backwards AGAIN. Lulu might not have a midfield car but he's looking more and more like a midfield driver.

More Kleenex for taipan, he's on a roll!

As a drink it wouldn't surprise me if you raised a glass of Gin and 'bitter lemon' to Lewis last night.

You did foretell midfield mediocrity for him and I guess 4th place can be termed mediocre. Personally I think Button and Checo would have something to say there.
Maclaren, now that's mediocre.
Jeez Tai, can you imagine if the Merc car is swimmer next year? You're going to have to find something else to do as LH fans will have afield day with your rants.

Just saying! :-)
