Richard,

Like I said earlier on since 2007 when Lewis stepped into a F1 race car to date (6 years) only 4 drivers have won the WDC including Lewis Hamilton, excluding Fernando Alonso, Filipe Massa, Nico Rosberg or Mark Webber.

Carsohot.
I'm a Lewis fan but your assumption that every doubter is an idiot and couch potato only makes me feel Tai has a point when it comes to 'some' of hamilton's fans on here.
His team mates name is Rosberg. Do him the consideration of getting it right.
He deserves that and so far this year has more than arguably out raced Lewis.
Lewis has said so himself. I have no doubts that LH will outpace his team mate and given the car, win races.
However you could be more magnanimous with your posts

Just saying!

What exactly does that prove though? Out of 6 years there have been 4 different winners. That's actually a pretty good variety. If anything this point highlights how good Vettel is.

@Jamal
But why are you using how long Lewis has been in F1 and how many different WDC winners as a reference for Alonso? If you are trying to argue that Lewis is the better driver there are much better statistics for that, but the general consensus is Alonso is the best driver in F1 right now. I say this even as a Kimi fan which burns me.

@Zelda
I don't even mention the car or Vettels own skill, merely that the statistic used by Jamal supports Vettel being the best driver regardless of my own personal view.

@jamal - I think it's a bit generous to say that Lewis' accident at Monza in 2010 was a racing incident. Given how many times he put himself in the wrong place in 2011, it was part of a pattern of misjudgements surely!

And those two incidents, if you look at things a certain way, cost him the title that year.

And it doesn't follow that the team were supporting Button over Hamilton. This was Lewis' team remember? And people were saying it was a big mistake on Jenson's part to go to McLaren!
