Tai, you don't stay in a top car long if you are not good. Even you are aware of that. Staying the length of time at McLaren is a testament to what the TEAM thinks of his value. Not an arm chair driver with pe nis envy. Does his luxuries in life burn your backside that bad?

Good lord. Is Adrian really THAT good? I mean All the Kings Horses and all the Kings Men AND all of the world's best engineers are at Mercedes and they STILL are being thrashed about by Newey?
Or does Sebastian Vettel have something to do with it too? I mean look at Webber. He's coming in 5th or so again this season. Hes well respected as a good F1 driver. So if there was another driver equal to him, then Red Bull would have ZERO Constructor's Championships and ZERO Driver's Championships.
I thinks its the combination of Newey and Vettel that is destroying all the other "best" engineers and "best" drivers in the world.

@ Ptolemy Newey is the only designer to win championships with three different constructor which has happened over decades. He has also done the bizz in the states in Indy Car in 84 when he debut winning the Indy 500 and 7 races in his first season with his designs he then went on to get the tittles in 85-86 so not only has he been the best in f1 with different teams at different era's his designs have won races across the Atlantic.

So to answer your question he really is that good and if not for him and his team pushing his designed cars throughout a season Alonso more than likely would have added at least another 2 tittles to add to the two he has already.

The argument that Hamilton has been denied another championship because of the dominant Newey Red Bull is totally null en void.

The only way that argument stands up is if Hamilton has come either 2nd or 3rd in the WDC behind one or both of the Red Bulls. That hasn't happened.

The ONLY McLaren driver in the last few years to be denied a WDC because of Newey is Jenson Button - who came 2nd to Vettel in 2011 - a finishing position twice as good as anything Hamilton has managed since 2008.

Like Alonso - - hit by Newey factor - ha ha ha ha serious that's a Lulu claim - you could be borthers - Poor Webber - he wasn't hit by the Newey factor - wonder who designed his pram? haha no respect for multi F1 Champions!
